Now that you have exposed yourself to those things that make it possible for you to bring healing to your friend, you and Jesus will be able to start asking your friend those important questions. As you visit with them, you will have a very valuable purpose for learning certain things about them. Rather than just talking about things that don’t bring healing, you will care enough for them to get to know things that will help you help them.

As you are asking your friend questions, you may discover that they aren’t ready for HELP eMagazine. You may discover they have not been born again. There is a program that you can familiarize yourself with, called the Power Series program. Just go to the WCTLC Start Page and select, “I want to know more about CHRISTIANITY.” Rather than having to try to convince them they need Jesus’ salvation, you can take them through the Power Series.

If your friend is already a Christian, but you don’t get the impression that they are ready for HELP eMagazine, then you might ask Jesus, if they should go through becoming a better Christian. Just select, “I want to be a BETTER Christian” and see if that is the kind of help your friend needs. Since your training in Growing Year Two is only dealing with HELP eMagazine, you would want to either practice it by yourself or wait until you have a friend that is ready for it.

If you decide to wait on Growing: Year Two, you can be familiarizing yourself with “I want to know more about CHRISTIANITY,” or “I want to be a BETTER Christian.” If you don’t have a spiritual growth program for yourself, you might check out “I want DEVOTIONS to do each day” and select “I’m A Victorious Christian Living Regular Participant.” It will make sure you are continuing to get the mature spiritual food you need. While you are praying, visiting with your friend, asking important questions, and listening to Jesus for how to help your friend, you can be getting familiar with HELP eMagazine. The more you know about it, the more you will see how Jesus will use it to help your friend. You are already trained by Him in some very powerful ways. You are now ready to be helped understand how to be a minister. You will be amazed at how much is stored in your mind and heart just waiting to be activated. Jesus has worked and will continue to work miracles in your heart and mind; just trust Him!

If your friend is a Christian, who is struggling with an addiction, a major emotional, relational, or financial issue, then you would need to familiarize yourself with the series provided by selecting, “I want to overcome a LIFE PROBLEM” on the WCTLC Start Page. Just select it and then select the little dark green bar at the top of the page, “I’m A Regular Participant”, and it will give you a gray box with the Main Categories and the issues they cover.

If you are not sure which problem is bothering your friend the most, you might start with the “Life” issue and then go to “Finding The Right Problem.” Just go through it, as if you are your friend, to see if you can identify their main problem. As you are asking them questions, you will start to see struggles that they are going through. You are looking for what issues are bothering them the most? Which one is causing most of the others? Which one needs to be dealt with first? And, which one will motivate them to keep seeking Jesus’ help?
