Thirteen Life Steps
How Do You Win At Life?
Jesus’ objective for these thirteen steps is to help you understand more about the attitudes of the Bible and the attitudes and character of God. In other words, why is God doing what He is doing and why does He approach people the way He does? Is God in tune with you life? Does He truly know what is best for you? Does He really love you more than you love yourself? Does He have a special plan for your life that will make you A LOT happier than any other plan you might try? Why is He against some things you really want for your life? Why does He allow things to happen to you that seem to be very bad for you? When you come to the end of your life, what will He consider as you being a great success? What Teaches You How To Win?
Jesus will be taking you through a lot of Scriptures out of the Bible in these devotions. He will be doing this so you can know what God is thinking; and, you will be getting that information directly from Him. The main purpose of these devotions is to help you improve your relationship with God. The better that relationship is, the greater your help, blessings, and healings will be. As a human, you are going to be facing some real challenges of life. As an unsaved person, you would have faced them without Jesus’ help. As a Christian, you will now face them with the power, blessings, and skills of a spiritual warrior. BUT, you will have to know HOW to take advantage of all the tools, weapons, and provisions from Jesus. Life Takes On Meaning And Purpose
Why Did God Put You On This Planet?
Did you know that you were allowed to be a human so you could decide whether or not you wanted to become a child of God? Heb 2:6-8 (NIV) But there is a place where someone has testified: “What is man that You are mindful of him, the son of man that You care for him? You made him a little lower than the angels; You crowned him with glory and honor and put everything under his feet.” In putting everything under him, God left nothing that is not subject to him. Yet at present we do not see everything subject to him. Did you know that SINCE you “did what it takes” to become a child of God, God wants you to learn how to be a skilled, trained, powerful, and mature child of God?
|
Just like you have had to be trained for living as a human, you must be taught by Jesus and the Bible on how to live as a successful child of God. The way you live as a human DOES NOT work for you living as a child of God. Rom 7:15 (NIV) I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. Jesus has to teach you and empower you to live a victorious life as a child of God. He is not only training you how to live as a child of God now, He is training you for how to live this way for all of eternity. Jesus will use the thirteen steps in these “Devotions With Jesus” to start heading you in this direction. He will see to it that these devotions give you the proper spiritual food so you can grow spiritually. Thirteen Steps To Victory
Each devotion builds on the last one; step by step you will be helped to open your heart to a closer relationship with God. That relationship will help you relax and start enjoying His company and teachings more and more. The more you grow in your ability to understand and appreciate God’s concepts, the more you will learn how to take advantage of that information. Your ability to understand and appreciate God’s concepts will come by you using them in the daily activities of your day. Healing For Your Hurting Heart
The more you get skillful at living life this new way, the more incredible things will take place in you and in the circumstances around you. You will see things change in your emotions, the way you are able to think with hope and faith, the way you talk with so much more confidence, and the way you act with so much more success. Life gets so much easier, when you have the love, joy, peace, and patience that God provides you. Through these devotions, you will have much more knowledge, understanding, and wisdom on how to live life successfully.
